Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy

The Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy Program is a 450-Hour course. These massage therapist classes are specifically for those who have already completed one or more massage therapist programs, and for NHI graduates of the Massage Therapy Training Program. The five modules are comprised of massage therapist classes that focus on taking a detailed medical history, performing in-depth assessments and tests to confidently evaluate and differentiate between myofascial pain and dysfunction as opposed to injury. Courses are broken down into the Shoulder & Thoracic region, the Head & Neck, the Lumbar-Pelvic region, the Lower Extremities and the Upper Extremities. In addition to the in class education, therapists attend a total of three cadaver labs during the program held at a medical campus. During these labs therapists get a complete view of the actual inner and outer structures, bones, organs and soft tissues; allowing them to have a much more intimate and comprehensive understanding of the human body and how to best approach their bodywork.
