Scott is licensed by the Ohio State Medical Board as a Massage Therapist and received his massage training from Columbus State Community College in Columbus, Ohio.  He has specialized training in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue work, Trigger Point Therapy and medical massage with patient assessment.

Before his massage therapy licensure, Scott has earned over 17 years of experience with direct patient care working with and assisting medical staff in the areas of cardiology, general practice, oncology, geriatrics, emergency medicine, rehabilitation, surgery and post-operative care, psychiatry, podiatry, pain management and others.  Scott’s medical background includes working at various hospitals and medical offices in Central Ohio, James Cancer Hospital at the Ohio State University, Rhoades and Doan Hall of the Ohio State University, Virginia Beach General Hospitals and has worked with the Physician’s as a civilian with the U.S. Department of the Navy in Norfolk, Virginia.

Scott obtained his undergraduate degree from the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and his M.B.A. from the Dauch College of Business and Economics at Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio.  As the co-owner of NoviSpa, Scott likes to travel on his free time where he loves everything Europe and the Caribbean and considers the Netherlands his second home.  Through the years, his love for the medical arts and in being a part of the patient’s healing process and plan of care, has always been an interest and motivator to continue in the medical field as he has; it was seeing the visible results, no matter how small, that brought satisfaction and happiness to his chosen vocation.
