Mary, the owner of Balance Massage and Wellness is a certified massage therapist with 30+ years of massage experience. She graduated from Indiana University in 1988 and in 1990 graduated from Alternatives For Health massage school. She offers deep tissue massage, massage for relaxation and has additional training in Pregnancy and Oncology Massage.

Mary has enjoyed watching the evolution of massage. At the beginning of her career there were very few massage therapists in Columbus. In the earlier days of massage it was viewed as a luxury where today many consider it part of their wellness routine. Mary is honored to be part of that evolution.

When she's not working, Mary enjoys painting, crafting and trying different art forms. She loves spending time with her husband and kids and is especially enjoying her first grandchild, Hendrix. She spends time on self care by doing Yoga, Pilates, MELT and walking in nature. She gets lots of bodywork done including massage, cranio sacral therapy and reiki.

Being the massage practitioner or on the table as a client is one of her favorite places to be.
