Hello, I am Dr. Tessa Anderson and I am a licensed massage therapist (LMT) practicing in the central Missouri area for last 17 years. I received my certification in massage therapy from Metro Business College in 2006. Over the years of my career I felt if necessary to get certified in many different therapies such as trigger point, prenatal, hot stone, IASTM, Kinesio taping and cupping. After some time working with people I came to realize that I wanted to do more for my massage clients so I furthered my education by receiving my bachelors in life sciences from Logan University in 2019. Then the following year I gained the honor of earning her doctorate in chiropractic from Logan University as well. Although I am not practicing chiropractic at this time, (plans area in the works for the future) my goal to help people manage their pain and enjoying life is being accomplished though my massage therapy techniques.

Honestly, one of the best massages I ever had. Dr. Anderson really pin points the focal area and actually helps eliminate pain. I am more on the harder pressure side and she adapts very well. I highly recommend CoMo MMT, you will not be disappointed.

Dr. Tessa is absolutely amazing, I can not recommend her enough. She booked me with only a day notice and came to our home to do Therapeutic Deep Tissue work on neck and shoulder. After that session we immediately booked 6 more and will continue with her monthly. She has great understanding of body mechanics, muscle knots, range of motion support and provided great relief to a very inflamed angry body of muscles. I can’t thank her enough for her attention to detail on my injury, desire to understand and working her magic. Others will listen and just do their same procedure of relaxation massage and that isn’t what I needed. I definitely urge you if looking for Deep Tissue work or other Therapeutic massage in Columbia Missouri, and you wanting it to happen in your home to book her ASAP. She has healing hands, a great attitude, so kind, and just can’t say enough great things about her, and that was my first visit. I can’t wait for this Monday and Friday to roll around for our next visits.

She’s been doing this awhile and experience counts for a lot. I actually went to sleep during a 90 minute massage session. In some ways, a bonus is that she comes to you so you don’t have to get in your car and drive yourself home. Instead, you can just relax in your own space.
