Karen Clark graduated from the Health Enrichment Center School of Therapeutic Massage in Lapeer, MI and is currently in her second year of advanced training which includes apprenticing with the NBA sports massage program.  She uses multiple techniques to design a massage based on the client's desired outcome for rest and relaxation, managing certain medical or pain conditions, or facilitating therapeutic change.  In addition to traditional massage methods for relaxation such as compression, gliding, kneading, rocking, she will integrate muscle energy techniques to help contracted or tight muscles return to their normal resting length and use thermotherapy (heat and ice), cupping, or kinesiology taping to help with any long term stress related patterns and injury related conditions.
