Gahlen has had a career in the fields of education, training, management, and helping of others.  After being injured while working as a civilian in Afghanistan, Gahlen began the recovery process with the aid of many in the medical field including some highly gifted massage therapists. Because of Gahlen’s experiences he decided to go into this field to serve others through touch.  Gahlen attended Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy (CIMT) and is a licensed massage therapist (LMT).  Gahlen is also a medical massage professional (MMP) as well as being a certified neuromuscular therapist (CNMT).

Gahlen and Lee Ann have been married 35+ years, have 3 married daughters (one attended CIMT with Gahlen), and 10 grandchildren – 5 girls and 5 boys.  Gahlen and Lee Ann have resided in Colorado for over 20 years.
