Being raised in a Humanitarian Aid organization my entire life, all I've known is travel and Therapy. The major crossroad in my life is when I decided to leave my career to follow my passion of supporting others. This passion drove me to the Colorado School of Healing Arts in 2015 to get my License as a Massage Therapist. The more I learned about Massage Therapy and the human anatomy, the more I began to despise my career. Less than 3 months after graduation, I quite my career to begin my job as a Therapist in an athletic club. While this job provided a small fraction of the financial income I use to have at my career position, my career provided an equally small fraction of joy in my personal life. With this newly discovered passion I became hungry for knowledge created an erratic lifestyle goin from from Athletic Club, to Chiropractors, to Spas, to Hotels, absorbing more and more knowledge with each change. While my position at a world renowned hotel in downtown Denver was everything one could dream of, 2020 proved that perspective can change in the blink of an eye. Losing my job and being confined to a studio 2 feet larger than a parking spot is not a conducive environment. Longing to spend the days on the farm, I packed up all my things and moved to Cody, Wyoming.

Fernweh can be translated in many ways from the literal word for word translation: Far Pain. To the loose translation: a longing for a place far off. To the thought for thought translation: Wanderlust.
