My parents, Ronny and Marcella, career field was the most incredible career field anyone could ever imagine, Humanitarian Aid. By the time I was 25 I had traveled to 32 countries building orphanages, wells, and teaching English. The major crossroad in my life is when I decided to leave my career to follow my passion of therapy. This passion drove me to the Colorado School of Healing Arts in 2016 to get my License as a Massage Therapist. The more I learned about Massage Therapy and the human anatomy, the more I became hungry for more knowledge. Less than 3 months after graduation, I quite my career to begin my job as a Therapist in an Athletic Club, and then a Chiropractic office, to a Spas, to a Hotel, absorbing more and more knowledge with each change. With the year of Covid, I desired to have freedom in the openness that only the country can provide and the wilderness one can only experience in Yellowstone. Packing everything up into one truck, I moved to Cody, Wy and opened Fernweh Massage and Bodyworks. Fernweh can be translated in many ways from the literal word for word translation: Far Pain. To the loose translation: a longing for a place far off. To the thought for thought translation: Wanderlust.
