In person course over a three day weekend in Dallas, completed on Mar 8, 2020. Taught by Gayle MacDonald, who flew in from Oregon to instruct us based off a textbook she had written. Her expertise comes from more than 10 years of work with oncology patients at Oregon Health and Science University. Gayle has been at the forefront of developing standards of practice for hospitalized patients, so that anyone – whether they are affected by cancer, or in a later stage of dying – can safely benefit from the therapeutic power of touch.
