I have lived in Tennessee since 2009. Brought here by the Army, I served with the 101st Aviation Brigade as a Blackhawk pilot at Ft. Campbell, KY. I retired in 2013 and after a little searching found massage therapy. I attended the Mind Body Institute in Madison, TN and knew from the moment I started, I wanted to focus on therapeutic massage. Wonderful technique! Careful pressure and consistent checking on me and how I was feeling. There was a bit of noise in surrounding rooms but not much and not anything that affected my overall thoughts on the massage. Certainly was not anything she could control! Meg is awesome! I’ll be back.

Once I got there I realized it was more of a trigger point massage. Which was new for me and I knew we were focusing on the pain points I came in for but we didn’t do shoulders, arms, hands, traps/neck, feet, calves etc so I still felt very stiff and uncomfortable after. I’m in my third trimester and was laying on my back for the first half of the massage which I didn’t think was going to last as long as it did. I think this would be more beneficial for someone looking for and expecting a more medical/PT style approach with the room’s ambience, lighting, procedure etc. Meg was very friendly, informative with my questions and I liked that she gave me a rundown of what she felt and thought was going on so I could move forward resolving my pain!
