I started massage as a child trying to make my mom feel better after long hours at work. It grew to include teammates, coworkers and other friends. I decided to go to school for massage at the urging of pastors and other people of my church congregation.

I attended Southeastern Institute in Charlotte, NC where I started learning how to effectively ease tension and pain in muscles. I found that I am drawn to helping people with neck issues find some relief from constant pain. With continuing education I have included Reflexology, prenatal, and deep tissue techniques that encompass the entire body experience.

I work in China Grove at Shannon's Massage. It's a small office with friendly surroundings of a small town. My hobbies are of the relaxing variety because life is full and we all need to take time to find ourselves.
