Massage is not just a luxury.  I believe and understand how to implement the therapeutic benefits of massage for your body mind and spirit to find rest, relaxation and calm in this busy world.  Each massage is tailored to your individual needs.

I have worked in a variety of backgrounds in the massage field including spas, chiropractic office, wellness center, and hospice care. I work with clients that have all types of medical issues like Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer, special needs children, and scoliosis.  My most recent privilege was giving a waiting heart transplant patient a massage.

Since entering the massage field it has lead me down a path of a more holistic life style. I have become certified in natural health. I am interested in herbal supplements and the healing properties of essential oils.  I love gardening, growing herbs, cooking with herbs and just being out side.  You may also see me out riding my bike when the weather permits.

This was my first massage ever & I'm so grateful I got the recommendations of friends who are loyal customers of Melanie. I was very pleased with the entire experience & I will be back very soon!

Melanie is both professional and personable. A very comfortable setting with soft music combined with a skilled massage. Definitely going back to her.

I enjoyed the atmosphere but needed more of what I wanted which was a deep deep massage. All my tension was not released but I will give it another go

It was my first vist with Melanie and she was very welcoming. She has created a nice environment to relax and the skill set to execute a well choreographed massage experience. I definitely will be going back to her.

I liked it all but it takes a while for me to get comfortable with the massage therapist and vice versa...and for her to get to know my body and where the tension spots are. Stay tuned!!! Thank you Melanie.

Melanie Scruton is the real deal. She displays skills and techniques that brings the patient a sense of understanding the processes she employs and answers questions that provide confidence in her knowledge of the holistic aspects for each movement. Her use of essential oils optimizes the effects of each movement. She understands the effects of transferring her healing energy to the patient and the overall effect is highly effective. Her approach to my compliaints was to use a technique somewhere between deep tissue and neuro-muscular application. I plan to experience some of her other techniques to assess their effects on my condition so that we can set up a program of recurring sessions that can achieve the maximum benefits for my particular situation.
