"Nothing is so strong as gentleness and nothing so gentle as real strength." -Ralph W. Sockman

Touch and horses have been integral parts of my life since I was a little girl.  I remember rubbing my mom's feet; snuggling the muzzle of my trusty lesson steed.  Then as I got older and working in the food service industry, I remember how much a good should squeeze could do for someone; having a horse that I called my own that needed some alternative treatment for a sore back.  These experiences never left me.  I chose to attend Centenary College for equine studies.  I thought one day this ...

I thought one day this would help me get into the equine massage field.  Life happened.  I went from working on horse farms and riding professionally, to working at a desk for an agricultural newspaper,  and then working as a masonry laborer and learning how to lay brick, block, and stone.  Through all of these endeavors, I had some minor aches and pains along with some major injuries.  One of these injuries landed me in physical therapy for several months.  Once I finished healing, I knew I could not return to my previous career paths.  In the middle of one door closing, a window opened and massage school seemed like the natural next step.  I have used my experiences of my own physically demanding lifestyle to benefit my clients, so that they may reach their full potential with massage.
I specialize in customized massage for each individual.  In combining many different modalities and techniques, my clients are able to receive the maximum benefit for what their body needs.  For this reason, I only give time allotments when scheduling.  This allows me to truly customize each session be it a relaxation, deep tissue, or something in between.  I love being a massage therapist!  However, I also know that my scope of practice is limited to soft tissue manipulation.  I have a great network of other traditional and alternative professionals which I like to reference when combining treatments for maximum health.
Today, I am fortunate to serve a community that supports my passion.  While I still ride horses, and have one to call my own (who has her own massage therapist), massage for the human is my life's calling.  My location is convenient from Chestertown and the surrounding areas with privacy that offers a peacefulness and tranquility.  I usually book two to three weeks in advance, but occasionally have available time slots within a same week of inquiry.  For this reason, I suggest that you call, email, or text me to set up your appointment today!

Kiley has an incredible gift. I have been to over a dozen massage therapists over several decades, and she ranks at the top. The entire experience was outstanding. I can sing her praises from the rooftop, and will definitely do so!

While I liked the interactive nature of the massage... discussing things as the massage progressed... I sometimes would be half-asleep and would be brought out of my reverie for the discussion. Not a bad thing, as my goals for this were to fix/work on certain issues. I think I was prepared for the interactive nature of the session from our discussion beforehand... my goals from the session were to address my physical issues. If I were looking for a relaxation session, I would specify that beforehand.

This was a great experience. Kiley has a wonderful spa room and gave me a thorough assessment for the neck issue that sparked my appointment. She clearly knows her muscle groups and her technique. I relaxed and enjoyed the massage as she worked on my neck and shoulders, and my range of motion increased dramatically after this first session. I would highly recommend her therapeutic massage to anyone who is working out a muscle problem or in need of de-stressing.

Kiley is very professional in her approach but with a great balance of personal attention. Wonderful pretreatment discussion of what my goals are and the steps to take to get there. Awesome massage.

Liked everything! Demeanor, poise, pressure, knowledge of kinesiology and very good technique on trigger points, or "Treasures", as Kiley calls them. I am a tough one and I know it. Kiley did a great job, I will be back soon. Nice room and ambiance.
