Giving the gift of Positive Human Touch is a passion with which I may help others. My original plan was to study Massage Therapy as a stepping stone on the path to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic. I had received numerous massages prior to enrolling in Chattanooga State's 1,290-hour Massage Therapy program, but I quickly fell in love with Giving massage, and my intention, passion, and focus were born; taking that course was one of the most life-changing decisions I have made. I entered the Skills USA Competitions, earning a Gold Medal at state level - qualifying me to compete at the National Competition in Kansas City, MO - earning a Gold Medal at the national level also [Job Skill Demonstration - Tapotement]. Upon graduation (2009), I was inducted into the National Technical Honor Society.
The techniques and modalities used in a session are determined by each clients' areas of stress/ pain, patterns of issues they allow to be released. The work performed helps relieve stress, increase ease of mobility, improve posture, reduce anxiety, aid sleeplessness, relieve headaches, and much more.
I specialize in Tapotement, having begun a musical career in Percussion in 1988.
I love music, reading, the great outdoors.
I love working with my wife on our other business: www.DavinaG.Nerium.com
