I went into massage therapy after receiving structural bodywork from another licensed practitioner following a series of injuries. The relief I experienced was so tremendous, I sought out my therapist's instructor and enrolled in the training he offered. I attended Southeastern Institute for 500 Hours, including 50 hours of clinical internship, before opening my own practice upon graduation and receipt of my NCLMBT license.
I have concentrated
training in Structural Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Myofascial Release under David
Phillips, a Certified Rolfer with a Masters in Kinesiology. These modalities involve deeper pressure and can be highly effective for athletes, those who drive or sit at a desk for extended periods of time, and people rehabilitating injuries.
For the past 5 years, I have successfully treated hundreds of clients' pathologies such as Plantar
Fasciitis, shin splints, Sciatica, chronic pain and immobility with my bodywork
techniques. My posture-balancing work has been called "results
oriented" by experts in the field and I would welcome the opportunity to provide you with
pain relief and added efficiency in your body and in your day-to-day
routine.
I am currently accepting new clients at my practice in Charlotte, NC: Zoë Massage & Bodywork
