Patty is the owner of Massage Haven a professional clinic that specializes in muscle tension release. If you've never had a massage, you may have some common misconceptions about the practice. Many people think massage therapy is either a luxury, or only necessary for people seeking relief for muscle and joint pain. In reality, massage therapy has many benefits that can help improve the well-being of all types of individuals. 

Massage haven was established to provide quality service to Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas. Patty wants to ensure her clients get the full benefits of massage service from not only her home office, but also from the comfort of her client's homes as a mobile massage therapist as well. 

Patty Flaherty (11134) is a North Carolina Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist. She graduated from Southeastern Institute in Charlotte, NC for massage therapy and has a bachelor's degree from UNCC in Computer Science. She has been practicing massage since 2011, starting out working for a Chiropractor for 8 years, seeing patients with problems ranging from severe acute muscle and joint pain, whiplash, sciatic nerve pain, and suboccipital headaches.

Patty's passion for massage drove her to start her own homebased/mobile massage business in 2011. Her own massage business has opened many new doors, not only being able to utilize different techniques, learning more and being faced with more challenges from clients that have wide range of different diagnoses such as posture related issues including, forward head posture, pelvic tilt, kyphosis, and even scoliosis, or the less severe posture issue such as sitting for long periods and getting the common neck or back pain, repetitive strain injuries, arthritis, Parkinson's, ROM and paralysis problems related after strokes, neuropathy, fibromyalgia, post-surgery pain, PTSD, and piriformis syndrome. Being able to give a full individualized session to each client and sending them off happy makes Patty grateful every day to be a massage therapist.  

In addition to having her own massage studio, she is also currently the massage therapist for Merrywood on Park (2018) and Southminster (2021) Retirement Communities.
