She is passionate about continuously gaining certifications to better serve her clients & Betsy also has experience in teaching other massage therapist.

Betsy has been a massage therapist in the Charlotte area since February 2007. She’s worked full-time for two large massage offices and has previously owned her own mobile massage business.

She has worked with a range of clients, including professional athletes with sports-related injuries, pregnant women, and professionals with pains often caused by sedentary office work.

Originally from Chapel Hill, N.C., Betsy relocated to Charlotte in 1998 to be closer to her family. She’s a graduate of the University of North Carolina Charlotte and holds a bachelor’s degree in fine art. She still enjoys painting and various forms of art.

But, she discovered her passion for massage and helping others after she experienced a fall in 2005 that caused her to have a herniated disk and a back injury. Massage therapy was the most effective way to manage the pain from her back injury.

Consistent therapeutic massage, combined with a lifestyle focused on health and wellness, was the key for Betsy alleviating her pain from the injury.

After experiencing the immediate benefits of massage, Betsy decided to become a licensed massage therapist. She graduated from the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy (now called the Southeastern Institute) in February 2007.

Betsy cares deeply about delivering individualized care to each client through a personalized plan to respond to a range of needs. Her tailored treatments help clients who experience lower and upper back problems, tension, and muscle pains.

REVIEWS for my Bodywork, Reflexology, or Aromatherapy services

I got a massage from Betsy on a regular basis but this visit I had a 90 minute session. WOW! What a fantastic treat!

Betsy's awesome. I'm also a massage therapist and to have Betsy work on me is a big deal, I'm pretty picky on who works on me! :) She's very thorough and listens to your pains. I'm a runner and on my last session, I asked her to focus on my lower back and legs.. she did just that and I felt much "lighter". I highly recommend Betsy, she's a caring and professional therapist who has a lot of knowledge on the human anatomy. Thank you Betsy, I look forward to my next session!

Betsy creates a comfortable, inviting ambience both physically and energetically. I felt right at home very quickly and was able to get the most out of the experience. It was so wonderful that I went ahead and booked 2 more sessions right then and there! You gotta get in to see Betsy!
