Angel is the Chief Executive Officer, Founder, and Owner of Anointed Hands Massage and Wellness, a Ballantyne, Charlotte, NC-based company.  She earned an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Therapeutic Massage from Miller-Motte Technical College, North Charleston, SC, in 2007, and holds active licenses in both South Carolina and North Carolina.

Her extensive experience in luxury day spas and massage clinics, coupled with continuous professional development, including a recent 30-hour Medical Massage Therapy course with Dr. Bryan Hawley, has provided her with a comprehensive skill set. While proficient in various body and therapeutic massage modalities, her specialization lies in therapeutic massage and pain management.  Although she appreciates the value of relaxation massage, her primary focus is on clients experiencing pain, particularly headaches, neck and shoulder tension, back pain, sciatica, and TMJD.  She is passionate about using her therapeutic touch to facilitate healing and believes her abilities are a divinely bestowed gift.  

Angel possesses over fifteen years of experience in the wellness and beauty industry.  Since graduating from Miller-Motte Technical College in 2006, she has developed expertise in various massage modalities, including hot stone, deep tissue, relaxation, sports, Swedish, cupping, chair, and muscle recovery massage.

Angel's extensive experience and commitment to rejuvenation ensure each client receives empathetic, professional, and friendly service, resulting in effective and enjoyable sessions.  Her comprehensive expertise enables personalized treatment plans to meet individual client needs, cultivating an atmosphere of trust and relaxation.

Outside of her practice, Angel enjoys diverse pursuits including baking, listening to music, and exploring new locations.  Her passion for travel and adventure often leads to theatrical performances or board game evenings, frequently culminating in culinary endeavors.  These varied interests enrich her professional practice, contributing to a holistic and dynamic approach to wellness.

Angel is excellent. Her studio is a little difficult to locate if you are visiting for the first time. There is a waiting area when you enter the building, but no receptionists. Arrive early, sit down, relax, and wait for Angel to come and greet you.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I injured my lower back last week after lifting something the wrong way and was in a lot of discomfort. Thankfully, I had a massage scheduled with Angel for Saturday — and it was right on time! I shared what was going on, and she immediately focused on the areas causing me pain. She was so attentive and intentional with her work. By the end of the session, I felt a lot better — the pain I had been feeling had subsided! Angel is great at what she does. I highly recommend recommend her!

Angel is an excellent massage therapist. You can tell she is “reading” your body and catering her approach to your specific body needs (many therapists simply do the massage they want to do, rather than tailoring it to the specific needs of the customer).

Angel is very experienced in relieving pain, discomfort and knots. Angel is on time and makes sure to remind you how important regular massage is in order to have consistent results. It is quiet in the room which helps you to relax, she does play soothing sounds which is great but I do not hear any noise outside of the room like some other places. It is private and cozy. You must give her a try and gift her services to someone else as well. You will not regret it.
