Sports, Medical and Injury Recovery Massage. I use an integrative approach to address your medical, sports or injury issues to speed your recovery. I specialize in myofascial release (MFR), deep tissue (DTM) and AcuPressure (AP). In addition, I provide a full range of other therapeutic massage modalities:  Swedish • Pregnancy Massage • Hot Stone Massage • Lymphatic Drainage Detoxification Massage • Chair or Table Massage at Special Events:  Bridal Shower/Weddings, Corporate, Staff Day and Fairs/Festivals. 


Licensed Massage Therapist. A graduate of the Virginia School of Massage, I am certified to practice by the National Certification Board for Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and licensed by the Virginia Department of Health Professions. I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and am fully insured. I am trained as a First Responder and Wilderness Rescuer.
Certified Lymphatic Therapist.  In August of 2018, I trained with Carmen Thompson to become a certified lymphedema therapist providing clients with detoxification massage via manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) and treat patients with lymphedema and other swelling issues. 
Acupressure Master. Unique to my practice, I routinely include acupressure during your massage session. Acupressure often provides immediate relief from acute or chronic pain and enhances any massage modality.  I am a certified G-Jo Acupressure Master.

Jacob has great hands!!. His work on my hips and legs relieved soreness and pain from standing on garage floor too long while refinishing cabinets. My legs are always very tender, but his massage technique worked the affected area without the slightest discomfort. Miracle!!

Jacob is absolutely amazing with his hands, techniques, and his acupressure. I have now seen him 4 times and I find myself going now weekly to relieve pressure in my lower back from a fall a year ago. I love the convenience factor of his location, and he really does a great job.

Jacob tried to do every thing possible to alleviate my discomfort, and I did have less peripheral neuropathy that night in bed. However, some of the symptoms in my leg returned this morning. I had a prescheduled appointment with my chiropractor, and after he stretched my lower back to release some ligaments and also brought my right hip in line, the symptoms eased, at least to this point. My experience is that my right hip retruns to its forward position after a day, so it seems that my focus should be on building up my abdominal muscles and stretching my lower back, while using the Back Pedal device to bring my hips into alignment.
