Do your best everyday. It seems to be the way I get through daily. We all have our moments when schedules work and the company we keep have an effect on how we treat ourselves. When we put ourselves first life tends to flow better. That is how I found Thai Massage. I was overworked and running in circles. One day I was given a choice between working a extra shift or receive a connection into myself with a massage session (Thank you Sallie Holland) Connect to my body? my mind ? my spirit? I can choose me? I always thought of massage as a luxury not as a option to live more fully. This was that moment. Choose life... say yes to me. That is how I see and feel what bodywork is. The saying yes to connecting to ourselves. Dropping inward and away from our racing thoughts and know who we are. What works...what does not. It's a everyday balance. Thai massage sent me on a journey I never thought possible. I said yes to it all. I chose me. I loved the Thai massage so much I completed a 500hr Thai massage training. Then gravitated to complete a 200hr yoga teacher training and then to 3 levels of reiki. It has all helped me heal and grow into who I am now. My true self...well much closer than before. The intention of everyday to "do my best" To share love and compassion. This is the foundation of Thai massage called "metta" Sharing what I learned along my path and hoping to give back what saying "yes to me"has gifted.
