Born in Poland many years ago. Lived most of my life in Israel. In 1973 got my Bachelor's from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel - in International Relations. I served in the IDF as a medic and seen combat during the ongoing Middle East conflict. After my graduation from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel., I opted to be a reporter with a local paper, but after meeting the Jerusalem Police Dept. “converted” to narcotics. Over the next 27 years I served as a law enforcement patrolman, detective and eventually as Lt. Col. and head of the Narcotics for the INP (Israel National Police) intelligence dept. In this capacity I was also a liaison to foreign and local narcotics and counter terrorism entities. My closest relationships were with the DEA, FBI, etc. - on the US side, and other intelligence and law enforcement entities, from around the globe. In this capacity I travelled to the US, and most EU countries.
In 1991, upon the request of the Israel PM office I became a consultant to the DOD on matters of counter terror and surveillance. Several years later, in view of "family complaints" (yes, the usual: spending too much time away from my family)  I decided to slow down a bit and retired from civil service. As a new career I chose to become a Holistic therapist, which I am to this day, after studying four years in Tel Aviv. In 1999 I moved with my family to the US and became a naturalized American citizen. We live in Chapel Hill, NC where I have my Holistic practice. We have two sons, 22 + 27. Although I am still quite active physically, I am currently, taking an ‘ extended leave of absence ‘ from my 23 years of Shotokan karate learning and practice. My other love is my Black Lab named Leroy and my guitar.
