Offering the gift of deep listening presence, Sarah's approach meets your system with the utmost respect and care to help awaken your innate healing potential. She has been trained in integrative Swedish massage, craniosacral therapy, Thai massage,  and aquatic therapy techniques. In addition, Sarah integrates deep tissue massage and neuromuscular release techniques as a part of her integrative approach. She meets you as a whole being, not just a passive recipient. 

   Sarah approaches the world of bodywork with a background in psychology, healthcare, and dance. During her time at UNC-Chapel Hill she earned bachelor’s degrees in psychology and studio art while additionally studying healthcare prerequisites. She went on to practice her passion for providing heartful care as a medical assistant and wilderness therapy field guide. These experiences strengthened and honed her intuitive skills of empathetic presence and support.

   Ultimately, Sarah’s love of embodied movement through dance and the integration of one’s mind, spirit, and body called her to the field of bodywork. Some of her most impactful experiences in life have involved those where she was fully alive in her body, especially in the context of community and the world at large. In this context, Sarah is passionate about the ways bodywork can open these similar doors of possibility of integration and feeling of home in one’s own body for others. Sarah realizes states of embodiment provide some of the most rich opportunities for personal growth and seeks to leverage this in her unique approach to bodywork.
