As a mother of two beautiful girls, my passion for birth and postpartum work stems not only from my professional training, but also my personal life.

I completed my massage training at Body Therapy Institute in Siler City, NC in 2007. I am a NC Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (#7567). I am also certified in Nurturing the Mother, a specialized bodywork method for fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and infant massage. In 2008, I began offering massage and bodywork therapy for women from the process of conception to well after delivery. Currently, I am in training for Watsu certification, and am looking forward to bringing that dream to fruition in the near future in order to offer my clients another resource for deep healing and wellness.

My work with those trying to conceive focuses on providing stress relief, emotional support and bringing the body back into a state of balance and well being. In addition to my women's health work, I offer massage therapy for general health and wellness to the entire community. I am a Nationally Certified, North Carolina Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist, and proud to be a part of the Fertility Wellness program at Triangle Acupuncture Clinic.

In 2009 my first daughter, Zoe, was born. During my pregnancy, I experienced first hand the amazing benefits of pregnancy massage, acupuncture and herbal therapies that helped me to have an incredibly smooth nine months and postpartum.  In 2013, after the birth of my second daughter, Mazarene, I had my placenta encapsulated on the recommendation of my acupuncturist. I had such a wonderful postpartum healing experience using my placenta that I knew I had to learn how to do this for other birthing women in my community.

I am trained and Certified in Placenta Encapsulation from the International Placenta Preparation Association (IPPA).  I am OSHA and Blood Borne Pathogens Certified, and hold a current ServSaf Food Handler's Certification.  I offer placenta encapsulation, tinctures, salves, placenta art, and postpartum care services to birthing women in the Triad, Triangle, and surrounding areas. I am honored to be a part of WomanWise Doula Collective, a group of caring and compassionate professionals who seek to support women in our community during birth and postpartum.
