Prolong Active Life with Therapeutic Bodywork

About Me

I had been working in the corporate world for 18 years when the memory of my first massage prompted me to change careers.

I remember having my first massage during a visit to China.  The experience was wonderful. My back, arms, and legs felt loose from the massage. The chronic pain and stress I had been feeling was relieved. After returning from this trip, I knew it was time to start making a change.

The transition from a corporate world job to a career in massage therapy was difficult and challenging. However, the rewards in becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) have outweighed all the difficulties and challenges I experienced.  To be able to help my elderly parents with shoulder and hip joint mobilization as well as free up adhesions to allow the return full range of motion has been only one of the many rewards I have received from becoming a massage therapist.  Now I also want to help the individuals who work hard and are trying to maintain an active life.

Very knowledgeable and skilled. He talks through things and explains his techniques and helps me understand what he’s trying to accomplish overall too. I’m looking forward to my future appointments with Douglas.

I always feel better after a massage from Doug. I come to him specifically for muscle and joint decompression. I have had plenty of massages and no one else does the same thing Doug does!

I took my mom for a massage for her knee pain. She had fallen down few months ago and couldn't walk with it hurting. Mr. Douglas worked oh her knees and around her body. It help restore and stretch the muscles that prevented her bending or walking. I didn't expect so much improvement in my mom's knee. It more than a message. Thank you and recommend to everyone.

Would certainly recommend Douglas to my friends that are having back and neck pain. He really works the muscles hard. Each visit has done just a little bit more and my recovery has shorten in duration as well. 👍
