Katie Wefel is excited to bring you the best in therapeutic massage. Located at Cedar Ridge Family Chiropractic.  A proud veteran, Katie served overseas in both South Korea and Afghanistan as an army medic. She understands that stress and trauma can affect the mind and the body. She continued her career in the medical field by becoming a  Physical Therapy Assistant, graduating in 2010 from South University in Savannah, Ga.  

Returning to Iowa to raise a family, Katie has worked as a Physical Therapy Assistant first in Northeast Iowa then in Southwest Iowa.  She worked in this field for over 10 years before earning her license in Massage Therapy from Carlson College of Massage Therapy in Anamosa Ia.  She is always looking to integrate new treatments and therapies into her practice and believes that continued learning is important for any good Massage Therapist. 

During her free time you can find  Katie reading, exploring parks and trails and spending time with her family.
