Bob graduated first in his class from the Utah College of Massage Therapy in Aurora, Colorado. He was the recipient of the Outstanding Academic Achievement, Perfect Attendance and Clinical Internship Award.
Although Deep Tissue, Sports, Swedish, Injury Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and Structural Integration are Bob's primary focus, he also has training in Russian Sports Massage, Hydrotherapy, Hot Stone Massage, Prenatal Massage, Reflexology, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Seated Massage, Acupressure, and Shiatsu. Integrating several modalities into each session based on each client's desired outcome is very common.
Facilitating the body's innate ability to heal itself is the primary focus of most sessions. As a perpetual student of human anatomy, Bob is fascinated by the "ripple effect" that structural dysfunction can have throughout the body. The ability to identify chronic holding patterns, determine possible causes and develop effective solutions to bring the body closer to a structural objective is one of Bob's specialities. Structural objective yields better range of motion and can reduce pain.
