There is more wisdom in your body than in your deepest philosophies. ~Friedrich Nietzche

After being a stay-at-home mom for 18 years, Karen decided it was time (and the kids were now old enough) for her to find something to do with the rest of her life. After being a stay-at-home mom for 18 years, Karen decided it was time (and the kids were now old enough) for her to find something to do with the rest of her life. She always knew she wanted to help people. When she was younger she had thought about becoming a Physical Therapist.  However, at the age of 40, she knew it would take years for that to happen. She gave it some deep thought and finally decided to become a Massage Therapist. She had always been told she had great hands for a massage and she knew that this was also a way to help those in pain or discomfort.  She also knew that she would be able to assist in the rehabilitation of those in need.  Karen finally felt her calling was in massage therapy.

Karen attended and graduated from the nationally recognized school of Lauterstein-Conway Massage School in Austin, Texas. She has knowledge in multiple modalities of massage including sports massage, swedish massage, deep massage, and clinical massage. She is continuously studying and learning the recent advances in these techniques.  She is currently licensed in the great state of Texas.

A session with Karen is an integrative massage.  This means she will use whatever modalities she feels will help you relax, calm your stress, and ease your pain or discomfort.  She truly enjoys designing this integrative session for each client to meet their needs specifically.  Karen works to ensure each client leaves knowing they received personal attention and were treated as the unique individual they are.  After a consultation, she will work with you on a plan for the session.
