During my nine seasons with the Dallas Stars I provided sports massage and corrective exercise to get the players back on the ice and keep man games loss to a minimum.

My goal is to educate people in corrective exercise through strengthening the spine, as well as to create intervertebral disc space with pelvic floor and core stabilization. My belief is when there is a muscle imbalance, poor movement follows, and this then leads to injuries.

I am committed to my personal growth and continuing education as a sports therapist and to work with my clients to promote their education and participation in this self-healing process.

• ELDOA I & II I have been studying under Dr. Guy Voyer for the last 5 years. ELDOA is an acronym in French for “Etirements Longitudinaux Avec Decoaptation Osteo-Articulaire.” English translation is Load Longitudinal Osteo-Articular Decoaptation Stretches. ELDOA is a form of stretching that decompresses the entire spine and helps normalize alignment of the vertebrae. ACTIVE RELEASE TECHNIQUES (ART)

ART is a patented, state of the art tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and with ART.

Structural Integration (Rolfing):

Certification in Structural Integration from the Core Institute with George Kausaleos, Tom Myers’ “Anatomy Trains” (2008) and Eric Dalton’s “Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques” (2010) Structural Integration leads to new holistic strategies for health providers, movement teachers and athletes to resolve complex postural movement patterns, which links individual muscles into functioning complexes, each with a specific anatomy and “meaning.”
