Carrie believes that massage therapy is an investment in your mind and body and is an essential part of self-care. She has a passion for exploring all areas of wellness and incorporating them in her everyday life.
In her practice Carrie aims to help others find peace of mind through therapeutic massages, or focuses on helping to relieve physical discomfort by using a more targeted deep tissue massage or trigger point therapy. Other types of massage included in her scope of practice are prenatal, reflexology, connective tissue, chair massage, and Ashiatsu.
Carrie became a licensed massage therapist in PA, in 2014, after graduating from Harrisburg Area Community College massage therapy program and in that same year earned her associates degree in Health Sciences from HACC. She began her career at a wellness center in Carlisle, practicing mostly relaxation and stress relief massages.
Outside of her career as a massage therapist, she enjoys spending time with her two children, reading, practicing yoga, hiking and just about any activity that involves being active in nature.
