“The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future, or anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.” Buddah

Since I was a child, I have been a massage therapist. I realized early that the power of touch was essential to our health. When my grandmother had to have both her legs amputated, because of poor circulation, I came across an article about how massage can help increase circulation to the legs and body. Since I was a child, I have been a massage therapist. I realized early that the power of touch was essential to our health. When my grandmother had to have both her legs amputated, because of poor circulation, I came across an article about how massage can help increase circulation to the legs and body. I realized that massage may have helped her as well. This is when I decided to become a massage therapist. I wanted to help people like my grandmother. I attended Everest Massage Therapy School in Georgia in November, 2006, and graduated with my diploma in November, 2007. Next, I received my Certification in 2008. The modalities of massage that I specialize in are Therapeutic Massage, such as deep tissue, neuromuscular, and trigger point therapy. In 2011, I became certified for Sports Therapy and Kinesio-Neuromuscular Therapy. I worked with an Athletic Association for 3 years, where I massaged football athletes, as well as body builders to improve range of movement. In 2012, I was certified for trigger point therapy where I learned how to reduce adhesion sites and reduce referred pain. In addition, I learned Reflexology which helped me learn how to associate trigger points with certain parts of the body.

In addition to massage, I have an Associates in Psychology. Also I write poetry about emotional healing. I believe that the mind and the way we think is associated with the pains and problems we experience in our bodies. I believe that if we can heal our thoughts and transform how we respond to life and people, we can improve the health in our bodies.
