My journey to become a massage therapist has been interesting, to say the least. About 15 years ago I finally received my first massage -- after years of thinking it was "weird." After my first session, I felt more relaxed than I could recall having been in a very long time. Soon I embraced it as a source for health maintenance and began to receive one every month. Two years ago I faced a significant emotional trauma and realized that I was now called to help others receive the benefit of massage. As a fitness professional for over 10 years, I have a unique background in understanding how the body works. As a martial artist, I well know the importance of breathing, self-discipline, and mindfulness. As an energy healer, I study the mind-body-spirit connection on a daily basis. This holistic and personal approach is what I bring to every client and every session.
