About the Therapist

Hello! Cris here, your Licensed Massage Therapist who likes to welcome you to Lunas Masahe where your wellbeing is cared and valued. But before I go further let me tell you something about what Lunas Masahe means. Lunas and masahe are Filipino words which means, Lunas for "Treatment" or "Relief" and Masahe means " Massage".

I moved in the US on 1998 from Philippines and have a wonderful son, Braxton, pet Uwzu (malteepoo) and a loving man who supports my passion, a passion to help others to feel at their best everyday. My job is to ease your muscles pain, muscle congestion and help you to be at your best through therapeutic or relaxing massage.

At Lunas Masahe, I  value your wellbeing and care your wellness. Safe and professional body treatment will be provided through massage, body mobilization, stretches, hydrotherapy  and Advance Tension Treatment by using a massage gun to break that fascia that is causing the muscle tension. My goal is to help everyone that walk in my clinic feel at their best.

Lunas Masahe maintains a well sanitize room per session to prevent contamination and infection for the safety of the therapist and client.  Strict boundaries between client and therapist is observed to establish a professional relationship as client-therapist. I have all the right refuse your treatment without refund when boundaries are crossed.

I graduated Massage Therapy at TLC Massage School,  Austin TX on 2018.  Prior to my Massage Career, I used to teach preschoolers to Elementary graders back in the Philippines.

I graduated my Education degree on 1998. But decided to change career on 2017 to help others live at their best. This is the reason why I choose Massage Therapy because I believe that no one should live in pain everyday. I told myself once that, " Body maintenance like massage is essential to my body to function fully. I put my body to work everyday. I owe this to my body and I only have one,  I must take care of this to function fully and live without pain".  I say this to my client everyday.  What about you? When are you going to take care of your body?

I graduated my Massage Therapy at Lauterstein-Conway Massage School on 2018. Prior to my graduation, I offered few if not ample amount of free services to friends and families to season my skills and knowledge about Massage Therapy and to ensure that I can provide the service you deserved. Massage Therapy is a great way healing your self naturally. I believe in natural healing instead of embracing all the medications out there that contains and slowly damage our liver. I am not saying that medications are not helpful, what I am saying is they also contain side effects that you are going to pay later in life. If you want healing with no side effects, Massage Therapy is a good fit for you.

Why you should book for a Massage

Experts estimate that upwards of ninety percent of disease is stress-related. And perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high stress. Massage is an effective tool for managing this stress, which translates into:

  • Decreased anxiety.
  • Enhanced sleep quality.
  • Greater energy.
  • Improved concentration.
  • Increased circulation.
  • Reduced fatigue.

Massage can also help specifically address a number of health issues. Bodywork can:

  • Alleviate low-back pain and      improve range of motion.
  • Assist with shorter, easier labor      for expectant      mothers and shorten maternity hospital stays.
  • Ease medication dependence.
  • Enhance immunity by      stimulating lymph flow—the body's natural defense system.
  • Exercise and stretch weak, tight, or atrophied muscles.
  • Help athletes of      any level prepare for, and recover from, strenuous workouts.
  • Improve the condition of the body's      largest organ—the skin.
  • Increase joint flexibility.
  • Lessen depression and anxiety.
  • Promote tissue regeneration,      reducing scar      tissue and stretch marks.
  • Pump oxygen and nutrients into      tissues and vital organs, improving circulation.
  • Reduce post surgery adhesions and      swelling.
  • Reduce spasms and cramping.
  • Relax and soften injured, tired,      and overused      muscles.
  • Release endorphins—amino acids that      work as the body's natural painkiller.
  • Relieve migraine pain.
