Hi, I'm Joy Morgan. I became a massage therapist nearly 13 years ago. I practiced for about 6 years before moving to Iowa, having my daughter Mona and taking a few years off. My family and I moved back home to Idaho summer of 2018. I am ecstatic to be working again. I had no idea how much being a massage therapist was so much more than just a job, it is a part of my soul. Helping others to be free of pain, fills my heart in a way I can't describe very well. Stepping away from my career, gave me an insight, understanding and appreciation to have a job I love! I strive to help every client by tailoring each massage to their unique trouble areas.

Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone massage is a natural therapy in which warmed stones are positioned on parts of the client's body of to maximize the therapeutic benefit. The stones used are typically river rocks or other very smooth-surfaced stones made of basalt. These stones are heated in sanitizing water before use. The high iron content in basalt helps the stones retain heat during the massage. Hot stone massages are beneficial on both physical and psychological levels. Always check with your doctor before getting a hot stone massage; individuals with certain conditions--including pregnant women and people with high blood pressure--are advised to avoid this type of therapy.

Joy does amazing work. She is very sensitive to the needs of her client and focuses on their reaction as she is working so she does not apply too much pressure, but gives enough pressure to stimulate the muscle tissues to beneficial effect. Joy is very professional, but makes the client feel at ease and very comfortable. During the massage she checks to make sure the client is having a good experience. Overall I would say that Joy Morgan gives the best massage I have ever experienced and I would high recommend her to anyone who is in need of an experienced, professional and highly skilled therapist.
