I’m here to help you find total body wellness

I graduated from Northern Prairie’s Massage Therapy Program in 2004 and have been working as a massage therapist since then.  I have a major interest in the human body and physical health and believe balance is very important. While I lost my eyesight, my hands have fine-tuned the ability to see for me. I utilize various modalities to bring people to proper physical and emotional balance, recover from injuries and address acute pain issues.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, working out and playing with my cats.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger point therapy is a bodywork technique that involves the application of pressure to tender muscle tissue in order to relieve pain and dysfunction in other parts of the body. It may also be called myofascial (myo meaning muscle, fascial meaning connective tissue) trigger point therapy.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of massage based on preliminary evidence which is hypothesized to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart.

Medi Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

Neuromuscular Therapy

Neuromuscular therapy is a specialized form of deep tissue massage in which digital pressure and friction are used to release areas of strain in the muscle. These areas of strain are called tender or trigger points and are the cause of muscular pain symptoms.

Prenatal Massage

Massage therapy during pregnancy is a wonderful complementary choice for prenatal care. It is a healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness. Massage relieves many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and edema (or swelling).

Julie did an amazing job! She is so professional, knowledgeable and very nice. She found all the areas that needed her expertise. I thought 90 minutes would be too long for a massage.....but it was the perfect amount of time.
