Josephine is fascinated by the ways in which our body and our relationship with our body changes throughout our life. As a massage therapist, Josephine is focused on bodywork for anxiety, pregnancy, trauma-informed care, and body acceptance. She individualizes sessions to combine techniques from many different massage styles. Her clients appreciate her caring energy, sensitive touch, intuition, and ability to apply deep pressure with gentleness.
Josephine graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (2019) with internships in both the school's onsite clinic as well as Womankind (2019), a nonprofit dedicated to helping survivors of gender-based violence. She is a MaMassage certified prenatal, labor, and postnatal practitioner (2019) and is training to be a postpartum doula with Carriage House Birth. Josephine holds a BA in chemistry from Wheaton College, MA, and has worked in many different fields including art conservation, biotechnology, and chocolate-making. Josephine is creative and curious – motivated by a continuous desire to learn and see how the world works.
