Hope enjoys selecting essential oils to further personalize each massage, provided there are no allergies or contraindications.  

Hope is a graduate of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (2019) where she developed an expertise in injury rehabilitation through an internship with Joffrey Ballet School and trained as a MaMassage® prenatal-certified practitioner. A native of the Upper West Side, Hope holds a B.A. from Oberlin College where she majored in Environmental Studies and minored in Dance. She developed an interest in the therapeutic nature of touch during her dance studies, where she was exposed to craniosacral exercises.

Hope is an enthusiastic gym goer, scuba diver, and photographer.

Hope worked on some chronic issues in my hip/low back. At the beginning of the session she mentioned how my back-pain could be translated to Chinese Medicine theory, which was interesting. The session was very centering and relaxing, so I left happy with the session. Then three days later, I was talking about my massage and realized my back and leg pain was completely gone!

This appointment was for my 14 year old daughter who has mild sclerosis. She wanted the 60 minute session and it was her first time here and she truly enjoyed it. We chose Hope who was very nice and caring. What I also liked about Hope was that at the end of the session she noted the parts where my daughter needs special attention and what kinds of exercises might help improve it. Definitely going to take my daughter again.

Hope is incredibly conscientious and professional. My job is physically demanding, and I've suffered from muscle tightness and spasms. After a conversation regarding current areas of stress and tension as well as previous injuries and more, she focused on relaxing my nervous system. After the massage, she gave me helpful recommendations for stretching and applying heat to my muscles at home. I felt well cared for and considerably less stiff. I will definitely be booking another session with her!
