KISS (keep it simple stupid)

The first time I showed interest in massage therapy was at the age of 12 when required to complete a school project on a career that I was curious about. I can't tell you why I choose to report on massage, but who wouldn't be interested in massage? It feels so good and there are so many benefits! After completing that task, I didn't give another serious thought to pursuing massage because I was busy mastering the cello, playing sports, and marching with the color guard, among another things.

At 15, I suffered an ACL tear and cartilage damaged from a sports injury and had to complete extensive physical therapy. The rehabilitation I experienced interested me and decided to become a physical therapist. I attended UW-Milwaukee for my BS in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in PT. During senior year, I was completing internships and starting to apply to PT doctorate programs, but I wasn't feeling any passion for the field. Why do I want to go through 3 or 4 more years of intense studying for something my heart wasn't on fire for? I felt as though there was something missing, that I could do more.

I completed my degree at UWM and took a year off of school to figure things out. During that year, the light bulb FINALLY went off in my head about pursuing a career in MASSAGE THERAPY. That was the ticket! And I haven't looked back.

I truly want to help people live in their full potential. Many are not due to chronic pain and disease, postural issues, and high stress lifestyles. My goal is to assist in you living out your dreams and aspirations by reducing stress, anxiety, and pain through massage.

I enjoy taking in the beauty of nature with hiking, canoeing, kayaking, and gardening.

I serve as the administrator of Royal Family KIDS New Berlin/Milwaukee. We host a one week, overnight summer camp for at-risk foster children, ages 6-12 from the Milwaukee area in the hopes of creating positive memories. Through this program we are changing lives and confronting abuse.
