In 2005 I became a licensed childcare provider. After the birth of my third child, I decided to stay home with my kids and give them all of my attention and love. I chose to become a childcare provider so I could offer the same to families who might not be able to do as I did. I fully enjoyed my time caring for children.
However, my TRUE passion is in massage. In January 2011 I began my journey at Everest College, located in Bremerton, WA. Every day offered new opportunities for me to learn and practice. I graduated from school in October of 2011, with Honors and as a student Ambassador.
Since then, I have been building my talents and passion for taking care of people. My main focus is on Orthopedic Massage. Also known as "Medical Massage", my goal is to work with you to get you back to doing whatever it is you are passionate about doing.
If you wish to schedule an appointment or have question for me, simply give me a call or send me an email.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards,
Rebecca

Massage Therapy
By definition, medical massage is a therapeutic massage prescribed by a physician and performed following the directives of that physician. Medical massage does not refer to any specific treatment method and can include various massage protocols and modalities. Medical massage is outcome-oriented.
IntraOral Massage is a treatment that that is performed by working not only the muscles on the outside of the jaw/neck, but also by working on the muscles on the "inside" of the mouth. By doing this type of treatment, you can experience pain relief from TMJD, after long treatments at the dentist, migraines, grinding of teeth, whiplash, to trouble swallowing and more.
Kinesio Taping is a definitive rehabilitative taping technique that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion as well as providing extended soft tissue manipulation to prolong the benefits of manual therapy administered within the clinical setting.
The Japanese healing art of Reiki has similar practical purposes—to increase and free the unbalanced energy flow in the body. But while massage is more vigorous and manipulates the muscles, Reiki uses only touch and sometimes merely the proximity of the healer’s hands to particular parts of the body, using 12 to 20 prescribed hand positions, depending on the training tradition. Today there is a hybrid treatment, known as Reiki massage.
What is Oncology Massage? It is Massage Therapy for people with cancer. Massage is for EVERYONE! It can be done on ANY PERSON with cancer and at any stage. To be clear though, massage is not a cure for cancer! However, massage can be complementary to the treatments being used to cure a persons disease and a way of making the treatment process easier to tolerate. Your therapist, has been trained and certified, to offer Oncology Massage. This is not your normal 60 minute session. Adaptations have and will be made at each session, to keep you comfortable, as well to help retrain your nervous system that it is OK to come back and reset your fight or flight response.
