A Touch From The Living Is Full Of Life

I was born and raised in Kentucky. As a child I lived in Louisville, but my family spent weekends and vacations on our land in Clementsville, Ky. I was very much a tomboy and my favorite place to be was outside playing in nature, especially the branches and creeks.  As a teenager, I became very interested in the teachings of Edgar Cayce and the natural healing.  Cayce's ability to help others through natural remedies inspired me to learn more about our connection with our earth and spirit...

Cayce's ability to help others through natural remedies inspired me to learn more about our connection with our earth and spirit.

In 1998, my daughter and I moved to Bowling Green, Ky.  I enrolled in WKU for business management and also took classes in horticulture.  I began to research native medicinal herbs and the history of their uses.  The more I learned, the more interested I became in natural medicine and healing.  The friends I made during this time lead me to appreciate fresh cuisine and healthy eating. I became aware of the importance of eating organic and locally grown food.  I feel in love with natures bounty and how good it made me feel.

In early 2000, I moved to Nashville, TN,  and started working for Aveda Lifestyle Store.  While working for Aveda, I learned the importance of using natural and plant based organic skin care products and essential oils. As a courtesy to our customers we would offer 10 min stress relief massages. I was often complimented on my massage skills and was urged to pursue it as a career.  I enrolled in The Natural Heath Institute in Nashville, Tn.  I became a licensed massage therapist and have been practicing since 2004.

My experience as a massage therapist, and my passion for holistic health inspired me to start my own practice.  In 2011, I opened Suite Zen in Downtown Bowling Green, Ky.  We have continued to grow oner the years and moved to a larger location.  Suite Zen Medical Massage and Spa  offers Medical Massage,  therapeutic massage, Medicupping™, and  natural wellness services. Our professionals and the services that are offer at Suite Zen are growing to meet the needs of our community.  We are passionate about helping others meet their wellness goals. I am honored to be a part of such a great team of caring professional and am thankful everyday for such amazing clients.

She took the time to ask questions to learn of the areas that needed attention and focused upon those areas during the session.
