Meet Marylena (“Lena”) — Licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki Master, and Trauma-Informed Healing Practitioner

With more than 25 years of hands-on massage therapy experience, Lena brings a rare combination of skill, intuition, and deep compassion to her work. Her healing journey began early in life, when she discovered she had a natural ability to sense where others were holding tension or pain. After tearing her ACL as a teen soccer player, she became passionate about recovery and the body’s capacity to heal.

Lena studied massage therapy at the Utah College of Massage Therapy, completing the Medical Track as well as cadaver anatomy at the University of Utah. She later expanded her training as a graduate of the InBody Yoga Institute, and is a Certified Reiki Master, Yin and Bikram yoga practitioner, and Trauma-Informed Yoga Instructor.

Throughout her career, Lena has worked extensively with post-surgical patients, amputees, personal-injury and workers’ compensation cases, and individuals recovering from physical or emotional trauma. Her approach blends technical expertise with a deeply grounded presence, creating a safe, inclusive space for clients of all backgrounds.

Lena believes that healing is not one-size-fits-all; it’s a personal journey. Every session is guided by compassion, intuition, and an unwavering commitment to supporting each client’s unique path to recovery and wellbeing.
