Physiology
fascinates me, especially when that includes observation of our relationships
with physical experience, the mind, and emotions. I am a massage therapist,
because I whole-heartedly believe the world is a better place the more we
center our hearts and minds back into harmony, with our bodies and natural
rhythm. As an MT, I have the opportunity to create a safe and sacred space for
another human being, where some real personal, and needed healing can take
place. My philosophy is: the more I can contribute to positively influence
others’ lives, the greater our community raises in vibration.
With a foundation in Swedish
massage; sessions with me are
powerfully relaxing and focused. Goals
are determined by the client’s present
concern, whether that is shoulders,
abdomen, or legs and glutes: and the
state of their soft-tissue. I regularly
utilize techniques like: fascial release,
muscle mechanics, pressure points,
and Reiki (which tends to amplify
relaxation). I infuse my work with
Reiki to balance energies beyond the
physical body, where I notice areas of
congestion, stagnation, and/or
hyperactivity.
