I have been getting massage therapy for over 20 years, from several different practitioners, and Shirley is the first massage therapist who has explained why certain muscle groups become stressed, and how other muscle groups try to compensate for that. She is also the first massage therapist to offer me strategies for preventing and counteracting muscle tension.
