Katya is a graduate of Sage School of Massage and Esthetics in Bend Oregon. The daughter of a bodywork practitioner, she has from a young age believed strongly in the body’s ability and desire to heal itself. With a deep appreciation for the natural sciences she obtained her bachelors degree in chemistry before deciding to pursue a career in massage therapy where her intuition and analytical approach could join forces to create a massage style that is clinically based in deep tissue and myofascial techniques. Her desire is to assist in bringing structural balance, alignment, and mobility back to the body and to provide relief from related chronic pain conditions while also providing a massage that is relaxing and sensitive to the needs of the client.
