"All Healing is Self Healing"

I have been practicing in the Healing Arts for over 25 years. I now practice primarily CranioSacral Therapy, which I love for its gentle effectiveness.

I also practice IntraOral therapy, which in CranioSacral  is used to work with the bones of the cranium and face, as well as the muscles of the jaw and mouth. This kind of work requires keen sensitivity and steady hands with fine motor control, which happens to be right up my alley. I have joked that if I had it to do over again maybe I would ...

I have joked that if I had it to do over again maybe I would be a neurosurgeon!  Kidding aside, I love what I do and I love helping people discover how much better they can feel!

Professional Experience

Since graduating from the 650-hour licensing program at Brenneke School of Massage in 1995, I have worked with hundreds of clients and pursued hundreds of hours of continuing education, from aromatherapy and Reiki to reflexology, acupressure and deep tissue. I dabbled in sound healing, color and light therapy, and flower essences before turning solidly back to manual therapies and deciding to pursue training in CranioSacral Therapy. As of 3/2020 I have completed 238 hours of training and still have quite a few more classes I want to take! I have truly found my passion as this multi-dimensional modality addresses the whole person while effectively releasing long-held tension patterns in the body, allowing for ease and clarity.

REVIEWS for my Bodywork services

Zakiah answered all my questions. She explained the different treatment modalities she was using and why. She is going to refer me to a practitioner in my area so I can receive additional treatments. And my area of scaring does not pull as much as it did before treatment. It also feels softer internally. Please only use my first name and last initial . . . Tracie B.

Quoting Jim here...."It's the best massage I've ever had in my entire life! Being 76 and a regular massage person, that's saying a lot!"

Zakiah was very patient and asked a lot of questions to determine a healing plan. Very impressed.

I had the most amazing Craniosacral therapy session. To actually "feel" the shifts of each section of my skull adjust and loosen based on the specific are's touched. I was very relaxed after the session. I'm looking forward to another experience! Steven Hendricksen
