With more than 800 hours of professional training and 20 years of experience in the field of bodywork and massage, Beryl Greensea brings her intuition and skilled hands to each session with a fresh approach and consideration for each clients' individual needs. At a young age, Beryl found her savvy for healing and relaxing touch. She recalls rubbing her mother's head when she had frequent migraines and discovering a talent for putting people to sleep by touching their faces and arms. This fueled an inspiration to become a massage therapist at the age of 18. Practicing massage channeled her empathy for humanity and guided her life path in a clear direction. Her passion became finding a way to master any method of touch therapy that would best serve clients, friends, and family. Several years later, a two year training in Craniosacral Therapy took Beryl's practice to new dimensions, adding a deeper understanding and appreciation for the inherent healing abilities of the human body and providing tools for potentiating this innate capacity. Her goal as a therapist is to unravel clients' layers of stuck energy and to guide their bodies toward physical integration for a pain free existence. Because inertia and pain work through many layers of tissues in the body, Beryl finds the most benefit in approaching each clients' care individually. Her contact ranges from firm, slow gliding strokes, to vigorous rocking and movement, to a featherweight hold. She believes the best way to dis-integrate patterned pain is to shake things up a bit and guide the fascia and musculature toward finding the space they need to reorient to a more natural position and range of motion.
