I first received massage in Thailand in 1974, when I had injured my back and couldn't get relief from the doctors on the Air Force base. My friend's wife took me to a tiny lady in the village, she helped me and I've been studying ever since. I have studied Traditional Thai Massage, Polarity (Energy work), Reflexology (Hand and Foot), Swedish, Manual Lymph Drainage, Neuro-Muscular Therapy (St John), Deep Tissue (Rolf Method), Myofascial Release,Cranial Sacral Work, Ortho-Bionomy, Myoskeletal Alignment, Chapman’s Reflexes, Acupressure, Sports Massage, Geriatric Massage, Oncology Massage, Seated Massage. I have recently retired after 24 years as massage therapist at the Richard Kane YMCA in Bartlesville Ok, and have gone into partnership with my friend Nancy Dykstra at Restore Therapeutic Massage.
