Hi! My name is Emily and I have a passion for the healing arts. I am a New York State licensed massage therapist and have been in practice since 2018. I believe regular bodywork can promote a healthy body and healthy mind. In the west, we are told from a young age that the way we heal ailments and injuries is through medications and surgeries. I have had countless clients coming to me with chronic ailments who have healed and prospered with regular bodywork. Massage therapy treats the underlying condition, not the symptom. I practice many modalities such as Swedish, acupressure, Tui Na, medical massage and specialize in deep tissue. Along with massage, I am a registered yoga teacher and have been teaching since 2016. I believe my yoga education has helped me navigate and better understand my massage therapy practice. I create a customized treatment for each client that targets their individual needs. Combining modalities in a treatment has rendered the most success in providing what the body needs.
