I became a massage therapist because I believe we are more than our bodies, and I wanted to work with people in a way that helped them to connect body, mind and spirit. I attended the Chicago School of Massage Therapy, graduating in 1990. I have worked in Boise since 1993.
I have always worked in conjunction with chiropractors, so my massages tend to be both therapeutic and relaxing. I mostly use a combination of trigger point therapy, deep tissue and Swedish massage. I also often include some myofascial techniques and PNF stretching. I am also trained in Therapeutic Touch. I have worked with a lot of people who have been in auto accidents, have had other muscle injuries, as well as people looking to support their chiropractic treatments. I also enjoy working with people who are looking for a quality relaxation massage.
I am available Monday through Saturday at my office at 1627 S. Orchard, Ste. 160. That's the building next to Rite Aid at the Orchard/Overland intersection.
For my own relaxation, I enjoy walking, biking, gardening, camping, and reading. Plus getting massages!
