For the past 20 plus years I have worked in the health and wellness field. I started out as a Cardio Kickboxing instructor at a Martial Arts school and quickly moved on to getting my Personal Training Certification. As a trainer I worked with all sorts of fitness levels from children’s fitness program, older adults, to high level amateur and professional athletes. In 2010 I graduated from Branford Hall Career Institute’s 1080hr Massage Therapy Program. After graduating I used my background in Exercise Science to guide me in my continuing education. I was very lucky to have great mentors right out of school to help guide the direction I wanted to take as a Massage Therapist. I studied Orthopedic Massage/Integrated Manual Therapy/Myofascial Release/Neuromuscular Therapy along with Specializations in Corrective Exercise, Sports Performance, and Conditioning for MMA/Combat Athletes I bring over twenty years of improving health in others into my treatment room and every training session. I look forward to helping others on their health and wellness journey.

REVIEWS for my Bodywork services

I've had three sessions as part of a 12-session series. Ryan is very knowledgeable, focused and loves his job. Stressful areas / knots, and my overall body feels better at these early stages.

Ryan is amazing. The improved movement and comfort from his work lasts. He doesn't just work on the small area you can feel, but he follows the issue through your body. He even has my right foot pointing forward when I walk which has been slightly turned out since childhood (a constant equitation complaint from my riding instructors). I would recommend him to anyone that cares about moving and being comfortable. Ryan has created a work area designed to work on movement issues to help people move well and feel comfortable. If you want a frilly spa environment realign your expectations or go to Litchfield.

Having a shoulder issue I have tried massage, physical therapy, acupuncture and more. After examination and discussion, Ryan was able to identify the areas and release the Fascia. One session, and I am able to sleep on my right side again. The discomfort is almost completely gone and my ROM has significantly increased. I am only sorry I waited so long to try Myofascial Release. I will be back for a follow up!

Dedicated, knowledgeable, skilled , and gets results. Not a "feel good" massage, it's a life raft for your body.

Ryan is the best hands down! He is so knowledgeable and adept at what he does. I don't recommend other professionals easily, especially to clients, but I have zero hesitation referring others to Ryan. He has helped with so many orthopedic issues and with quick results to boot. Highly, highly recommended!

Ryan’s work is amazing and life altering! I walked into his office in pain and tilting to one side while wearing an ankle brace. I left pain free with a tremendous difference in posture, and an ankle brace in my purse. Thanks so much Ryan, Ellen Youman-Karl

Ryan is very approachable, he has a calm energy that invites you to feel comfortable and relaxed for your therapy session. I have a very complicated and extensive medical/health history and Ryan welcomed me and his communication skills were excellent. He was really helpful explaining what he was doing how it would affect me. We shared goals for my body and experience. He has a nice studio to work in . It’s warm and inviting. My overall experience was excellent. I booked further appointments with Ryan because of my overall experience and the positive impact it had on me. I highly recommend Ryan.

Go see Ryan if you have nagging injuries that couldn’t be resolved elsewhere.

Ryan's grasp of the intricate connections between fascia, tissue, muscle, joint and bone helps me from head to toe every session and in the weeks following.
