Amber is a graduate of Mckinnon Body Therapy Center in Oakland, CA with training in Craniosacral therapy, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Acupressure, and has studied Pregnancy Massage at the San Francisco School of Massage and Bodywork. Amber is a graduate of Mckinnon Body Therapy Center in Oakland, CA with training in Craniosacral therapy, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Acupressure, and has studied Pregnancy Massage at the San Francisco School of Massage and Bodywork. Guided by her grandmother from a young age, she has practiced massage on friends and family members and studied various forms of healing and remedies. She listens to the client, observes their structure and posture, and customizes a session best tailored to address their needs and related areas. Amber has had additional training in Chi Nei Tsang- Daoist internal organ massage that helps to adjust and release abdominal pain from digestive issues, uterine cramping, stored emotions, and more. She has studied and practiced Ortho-bionomy-a gentle osteopathic-based modality of listening and allowing the body to unwind and correct itself, Visceral Manipulation from the Barral Institute to help further release restrictions to internal organs with greater specificity and musculo-skeletal system and some Qigong Tui Na. To help restore her own body and wellness, she practices tai chi and qigong, paints and collaborates on music, and is a certified Energy Arts instructor in Wu Style Tai Chi Short Form and Dragon and Tiger Medical Qigong. Her touch is intuitive, healing, and therapeutic.
