In Aug. 2010, I graduated from Austin's Texas Healing Arts Institute 500-hr. massage program. Since then, I have worked with all different types of clients, from professional athletes, to weekend warriors, professionals who sit at a desk or travel frequently for work, to stay-at-home moms trying to make some time for themselves.  My specialties are deep tissue massage and sports massage. I've found this type of massage to be most effective and have long lasting results, especially when the bodywork is received on a regular basis.

After working as a Massage Therapist for 3 years, I wanted to help people not only feel better, but address my clients' pain in a well rounded manner, so I went through a 500-hr Pilates Certification with Core Therapy and Pilates, studying under Master Teacher Trainer, Cheryl Dunn. It was after studying Pilates movement principles that I began to see the body in a new way. I developed a keen eye for postural imbalances, muscle weakness and how the body compensates in other areas. Pilates helps me to advise my massage clients on how to strengthen and/or stretch certain areas of the body in a safe, controlled way. Practicing Pilates myself for 5 years has completely changed my body and the way I work out.

In Feb. 2016, I also completed (2) 200-hr Yoga Teacher Trainings, one abroad in Nicaragua and another in Austin, TX, studying under Gioconda.  Yoga is therapeutic in many forms and perfectly compliments my Massage and Pilates practice.

With the 3 certifications I currently have, and the continuing education hours, workshops and retreats I participate in multiple times per year, I have over 1,700 hours study in anatomy and kinesiology. I can offer my clients a balanced, holistic view of the body and how to create physical longevity
